1. What are pouch laminators?
Pouch laminators use heated rollers to seal laminating pouches under heat and pressure. They are available in a variety of sizes to meet different laminating requirements.

2. What kind of pouch film do I need?
The thickness of a single layer of pouch film normally ranges from 65 to 150 microns. For document lamination, we recommend 65–100 micron film. For photos, choose 80–100 micron pouches to achieve a flat finish and long-term protection. For ID cards and business cards, 100–150 micron pouches are suggested for better durability.

3. Why is my lamination cloudy? Is there any problem with my machine or film?
Here are common causes:
A. The laminating pouch you used is too thick. Please select the correct film.
B. Your laminator is set for cold pouches while you are using standard hot laminating film. Please switch the machine to the Hot mode.
C. You inserted the pouch before the “Ready” light turned on. Please wait until the machine is fully heated and try laminating again.

4. What should I do if the laminated material gets jammed?
Jamming may occur under these conditions:
(a) Laminating very thin paper (e.g. 0.03mm) with extra-thick pouch film.
(b) Running an empty thin pouch through the machine with no document inside.
(c) Laminating self-adhesive paper alone.
(d) Laminating heat-sensitive items such as adhesive tape.
If jamming happens, please contact your local service center for assistance.

5. How to fix wavy lamination?
Waviness often appears when thin paper or thin laminating pouches are used. We recommend placing the freshly laminated item under a heavy book or file. Leave it to cool down, and it will become flat after a short period.
